Kira Rodriguez is the web and data specialist for Evergreen. She hails from the San Gabriel Valley in Southern California where, from a young age, she became engrossed in Earth and environmental science. Her interests led her to pursue a bachelor’s degree in geophysics from the University of California, Berkeley. Through her studies and engagement with local justice movements, she discovered the potential to make an impact on both people and the planet by leveraging her technical skills. Before joining Evergreen, she helped GRID Alternatives expand access to renewables in high-pollution areas by optimizing digital workflows as an Outreach Operations Specialist. During her free time, Kira finds creative ways to unplug, nerds out about her EV, or dives deep into TV and video games.
